CRESTED BUTTE: There are few places remaining that can be called a

adventure in an unspoiled setting surrounded by majestic peaks, wide
valleys, and being connected to the culture and lifestyle that is Crested
Butte. From the abundant wide open green and blue groomed trails to
more advanced long cruisers and the famous extreme limits of the North
Face and Headwall, the mountain has it all. The mountain has some of
the easiest access to what is considered to be the countries best steeps
where you can find classic bowl skiing or unexplored lines on every
run. Crested Butte has always been know as the perfect mountain to improve
your skiing because of the diverse terrain and easy progression from
beginner, intermediate and advanced sections of the mountain. This unique
character of the mountain combined with uncrowded slopes, fantastic
grooming and snow conditions gives one a sense of freedom and confidence.

HOTEL INFORMATION
THE
GRAND LODGE HOTEL At base of ski resort. This hotel (renovated October
2008) is located 225 yards from the Silver Queen and Red Lady Express
chairlifts, and is three miles from the town of Crested Butte. In addition
to easy access to the slopes, The Grand Lodge provides a 24-hour fitness
center, a steam room, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, and an outdoor spa
tub. Woodstone Grill and Lounge serves breakfast and dinner. The Emmons
Studio’s comes equipped with a king size bed, and for your convenience,
there is also a pull-down king size Murphy bed in the living area. In
addition, our oversized Emmons Studios have kitchenettes with a microwave,
dishwasher, dishware, sink, one burner stove, and refrigerator. Other
amenities include high-speed wireless Internet access (WIFI), cable
television, in-room climate controls, coffee makers, in-room safes,
hair dryers, irons and ironing boards.
MOUNTAIN INFORMATION
Crested
Butte Mountain has plenty of snow dumps all season long spread out
over 1,160 acres. There's a "go-for-it, wahoo..." attitude
that prevails among friendly, loose skiers who favor its terrain. There's
plenty of space for all abilities, but hot skiers and riders will want
to know there are more double-black diamond ski trails than any other
resort in Colorado. All 121 trails and bowls are open along with a kid's
terrain park, an expansive new terrain park with 10 jump features and
over a dozen rail features, halfpipe, bumps and berms. A new 500 foot
superpipe named "Pipedream" is located on the Forest Queen
