It took five different architects and 25 years to build New York State’s capitol building, Governor Theodore Roosevelt declared the building complete in 1899. Not to be missed in the building is the elaborate million dollar staircase. Spend the day at Six Flags Great Escape, home to 125 thrilling rides, shows and attractions. The Great Escape is on 140 scenic, wooded acres. This park is home to the famous Comet, a classic wooden coaster that ranks among America’s top five.
